After graduating from Brighton Polytechnic in 1982, Gary worked for a number of consulting engineers including WS Atkins and Ove Arup. He gained considerable experience on a series of large and small projects including the design of some of the buildings at EuroDisney in Paris, marine treatment works on the south coast and other commercial and historical buildings throughout the country.

Gary joined Elliott Wood Partnership in 1997 and has worked on a large range of projects ever since. In particular Gary has been responsible for the design and management of several large residential developments in London, car showrooms for Vauxhall and other associated retail outlets as well as numerous very large new houses and refurbishments of existing houses. He has also been responsible for the design and management of a number of new or refurbished schools.

Gary has day to day responsibility for all the Health and Safety issues connected with projects at Elliott Wood Partnership. To this end he attends Health and Safety seminars and meetings and advises staff on their duties under the CDM Regulations 2007.
