Life at Elliott Wood Partnership
Cyclescheme
Tax free bikes
Elliott Wood Partnership are making a decisive move toward more sustainable development. With this in mind we have implemented a Cyclescheme, which allows employees to purchase a quality tax free bicycle through the company.
We provided a secure area for bikes to be stored at our office, and encourage employees to get involved with this scheme. Many of our employees take advantage of this and use their bike as their main mode of travel into and out of work.
Lunches
Free daily lunches
Elliott Wood Partnership provides free daily lunches from Marks & Spencer for all our staff.
Elliott Wood Partnership
provides free fruit for all our staff. The fruit is sourced by Waitrose and
delivered by Ocado.
Waitrose were nominated as the
Fresh Produce Retailer of the Year 2007, and source their fruit with care,
bringing in high quality produce from around the world. They were also the first supermarket to sell Fairtrade
bananas in all of their branches and they promote good environmental practice
wherever they can.
Ocado try to make a positive
difference to our environment with 100% biodegradable bags, and all their
receipts are printed on 100% recycled paper. Their delivery vans are also powered by
biodiesel acquired from sustainable sources which assists with lowering
emissions.
Healthy eating
encourages healthy living, and by providing fruit, we encourage our staff to
meet the 5 a day allocation.
