In 1999 he moved to Price & Myers in London. While there he worked as a Project Engineer on a mixture of new build and refurbishment projects, from small residential schemes to large mixed-use developments ranging in value from £50k to £24m. Peter sat the Institution of Structural Engineers Chartered Membership Exam in 2002.
He joined Elliott Wood Partnership in 2003 as a Senior Engineer running a mixture of projects ranging in value from £200k to £30m. Running a wide range of projects has allowed Peter to develop technical expertise in many areas, in particular, the development of technically efficient schemes in restricted access brown field sites. In February 2007 Peter became an Associate and moved to Nottingham to start up a new regional office for the practice. The Nottingham office is growing at an exciting pace and is building new relationships with Clients, Architects and other consultants within the Midlands and North of England.
