Planning consent for 55 Broadway – Latest

Planning permission has been granted for the transformation of 55 Broadway into a luxury hotel for Integrity International Group. We are working with EPR Architects to refurbish the 1920’s building and associated curtilage buildings, reimagining the former Transport for London offices as a 520-room, 5* hotel.

The Grade I listed building was originally designed in an Art Deco style by Charles Holden and is considered to be London’s first skyscraper. The development will celebrate the building’s rich history by sensitively restoring its unique early-modernist features and will allow the public to access and view the landmark civic building for the first time.

The project achieved unanimous support at committee.
