Richard III Visitor Centre wins Project of the Year

Adding to its award accolades, Richard III Visitor Centre has won ‘Project of the Year’ at the Construction News Awards. We were also delighted to have been shortlisted for ‘Employer of the Year’.

Following the discovery of Richard III’s remains beneath a car park in Leicester in 2012, Leicester City Council acquired a beautiful Victorian Gothic revival building near to the site to convert into a homage to the resurrection of Richard III’s life.

Elliott Wood collaborated with Maber Architects and Morgan Sindall on this award winning project, which has recently also been shortlisted for the Retrofit Awards.
