Two projects shortlisted for AJ100 Building of the Year

We’re delighted to announce that Belle Vue and 80 Charlotte Street have been nominated for the AJ100 Building of the Year Award.

Belle Vue is the later living scheme designed by Morris+Company in Hampstead, London. The stunning brickwork development houses 60 apartments that are set within landscaped gardens with a host of communal facilities.

80 Charlotte Street is home to our Central London office and coworking space, The Building Society, and we also advised on the scheme. We undertook the client monitoring role on behalf of developer Derwent London plc for the structural engineering aspects. The project is one of London’s first net zero carbon commercial buildings and a great example of a sustainable, major mixed use development from Make Architects.

The prestigious award from The Architects’ Journal celebrates the very best architecture completed by an AJ100-ranked practice during 2020 in the UK or abroad.
