Two wins at the Architects' Journal Awards 2021 – Latest

We're happy to report two wins for our projects at the Architects’ Journal Awards last night!

Our later living scheme, Belle Vue, with Morris+Company took home the Housing (£10 million and over) prize. The judges described it as: ‘An all-round good building that deals with the site very well and has a very rational massing.’ They added: ‘There’s a sense that the people living there have formed a community and are incredibly well looked-after.’

Congratulations also go to Mæ Architects and the team on scooping the Community and Faith Award with the Sands End Arts and Community Centre! The judges commented: "From its presence on the street, to the exceptionally beautiful entrance, to the quality of light, to the way the buildings flows, this is architecture with a capital A. It is also a hugely flexible, user-focused building and high-performing in terms of sustainability."
