We are looking for a successful data and document controller to work alongside of operations manager to ensure our company databases are efficient and effective and providing required workflows for our teams.

To be successful in this role you will need to have a minimum of 2 years of database experience, be comfortable in working in a fast paced, demanding role and manage multiple projects that run simultaneously.

As the data and document controller your key aspects of the role will include but are not limited to;

  • Write database documentation by way of guidance notes and training videos for engineers and database maintenance notes for the company database manual.
  • Provide user training, support, and gain feedback to review with the Operations Manager, identifying further improvements required.
  • Set up new jobs on the database, ensuring all fields entered and project handed over to the project engineer.
  • Audit project information and work with all teams to ensure all project data is up to date and correct, including resourcing, fee schedules, fee
  • Maintain data standards with compliance for GDPR.
  • Ensure that standard reporting is pulling through data correctly and giving meaningful insights.
  • Support development of further automated reporting.
  • Work with the Operations manager on delivering new database solutions, reports, and features.
  • Provide admin support with permissions and user access.

About You:

  • Familiarity with computer operating systems and database technology
  • Experience working with GDPR compliance.
  • Experience with generating and auditing reports
  • Database experience of minimum 2 years
  • Database experience within Construction industry of 1 year
  • Data Entry experience of minimum 2 years Customer/client facing

Highly desirable

  • Database migration experience
