We are Engineers who deliver on better. Driven by strategic consultancy with creative and technical problem-solving, we act as originators, advisors and doers for the built environment.

We inspire clients and organisations to think differently about their spaces – not just aesthetically and commercially – but for the benefit of the planet and people who use them every day.

For over 25 years, we have focused on both small details and bigger ideas, Revealing the hidden opportunities and potential that can allow a project to prosper.

Our curiosity and collaborative nature enables us to challenge the status quo and establish the essential facts – be it across the re-use of materials, modelling entire buildings in great detail, revisiting old craft techniques or embracing academia.

As Engineers, it’s our job to constantly study and evaluate. So we always look at the bigger picture – Education, Technology, Health, Infrastructure, Culture and Sustainability. These are all issues deeply entwined with the Built Environment, both in cause and effect.

We know we can engineer better buildings, why not also apply our imaginations to society, culture and beyond? Something that’s to the benefit of our communities, team and in particular, our clients. From there we can Materialise new ideas for a much greater Impact.

To drive change further, we have created The Building Society – collaborative workspaces and communities where like-minded organisations, from architects to quantity surveyors, can work with us to educate, inspire and action ideas for a better and healthier society.
