We are thrilled to announce that Bushey Cemetery has won in the Religion category at the World Architecture Festival!

Working alongside Waugh Thistleton Architects and landscape architects JC Gibbons, a new cemetery for United Synagogues was created, situated within the heart on London’s greenbelt in Bushey.

Elliott Wood worked closely with the architects and rammed earth specialists to provide a robust solution that delivers the ambitious 7.0m high structures with simple, elegant detailing.
