Elliott Wood wins gold recycling standard – Latest

Last year, our Wimbledon office along with over 25,000 other First Mile customers, helped save 60,000 tonnes of waste from landfill & prevented 28,000t of CO2 from entering the atmosphere. That's the equivalent of planting over 500,000 trees!

We were awarded a gold recycling standard by First Mile as we achieved an 87% recycling rate.

In addition to our recycling efforts, we look closely at all of the materials and supplies we use and seek sustainable alternatives and review our suppliers regularly. We also give feedback to our suppliers if we receive items in excessive boxes and packaging.

We review our office spaces to look at ways to improve our spaces with consideration and care for the environment, such as using environmental sound cleaning products, installing solar panels and making use of natural light and ventilation where possible.

We follow the well known motto across all three of our offices: Reduce, reuse, recycle!

Next year, we're aiming for 100%!
