Rotherhithe Bridge Wins NLA People's Choice Award

Rotherhithe Bridge has won the New London Architecture People’s Choice Award. This is a great accolade to win and shows the public support, interest and demand for a bridge in this location.

The inaugural People’s Choice Award, gave members of the public the chance to vote for their favourite London buildings over the London Festival of Architecture in June. reForm Architects and Elliott Wood won the award receiving an overwhelming number of votes.

Rotherhithe Bridge is a proposed concept design produced in collaboration between reForm Architects and Elliott Wood. The study commissioned by cycling charity Sustrans was to determine the feasibility of a pedestrian and cycle bridge over the River Thames between Canary Wharf and Rotherhithe.
