swiMIPIM 2019 – Latest
On the 13th of March 2019, Elliott Wood and dMFK Architects are getting back into the swim of things, co-hosting the second annual charity swim across the MIPIM bay in Cannes!
This year, we swim for Streets of London, a UK charity that funds projects where the money will make a real difference to the lives of homeless people in London. Homeless people are some of the most vulnerable and socially excluded people in our society. Nearly 7,500 people slept rough on London's streets in 2017-18.
Seas the day and contribute to this great cause by signing up for one of the 40 places available. There are two sign up options:
Either make a donation of the full £250 fee on our main fundraising page
Or make an initial £50 donation on the same page above, and set up a personal fundraising page, also on BTDonate, with a target of £250. This way, your family, friends and colleagues can help you fundraise the full fee! We can help you set up this fundraising page and connect it with the main appeal, just let us know!
All the money raised will be pooled towards the £10,000 fundraising goal.
We are celebrating swiMIPIM’s second year with two routes, both ending at the London Stand:
Group A (2km) – Swim across the bay from the London Stand to the eastern end of La Croisette, and back.
Group B (1km) – Join the Group A on the way back, from the eastern end of La Croisette to the London Stand only.
The swim starts at 10am and to ensure a safe and splashing good time, we will have six instructors on hand, in kayaks and on boats.
If you’re interested in taking part, have any further questions, or would like to make a donation, please see the fundraising page here http://mydonate.bt.com/events/swimipim/484363
or get in touch with us at email@example.com by Friday, 15th of February. Last year the places went faster than expected, so be quick!
