Civil Engineering – Services
Our Civil Engineering Services
The Climate Emergency is real, it is impacting our daily lives with increasingly wetter winters and dryer summers that are breaking records year-on-year. Since 1998, the UK has seen seven of the ten wettest years on record with four of those in the past six years.
The built environment is fuelling this climate change both in its construction and on-going operation, accounting for 40% of the UK’s carbon emissions. The result is flash flooding, pollution of our rivers and sea and increasing stress on our water supplies.
It is about time we applied joined-up thinking, building smarter to reduce our reliance on centralised infrastructure, reduce material usage, reduce flooding, improve water quality, and engineer a better society.
At Elliott Wood, we have been thinking this way for years. Using a combination of technical prowess and ingenuity, our civil engineers take an inquisitive approach to projects, questioning the brief where necessary and getting under the skin of a project. This uncompromising approach teases out sustainable, efficient, and creative solutions that deliver maximum value to clients, the planet, and the communities that sit within and around it.
