Elliott Wood provided transport advice to Ashall Projects Ltd for the redevelopment of the former Royal Mail sorting office on Abingdon Street in Blackpool for the use of a 116 bedroom hotel. The redevelopment will breathe new life into the Grade II Listed building, retaining many of the original features including the eight telephone boxes.
Our Transport advice included the development of an access strategy for the site, design advice of the parking and delivery facilities, as well as the documents (Transport Statement and Travel Plan) required to support the planning submission. The development was granted planning permission in November 2021.
